The Transcontinental Race to Recover America's Missing Children began at 9:00 am Saturday 9/29/07 in Orlando, Fl. and ends in Los Angeles, Ca. During the 3,500 mile journey drivers will take every opportunity to pass out flyers which includes information regarding the missing child that their vehicle is sponsoring.

Josh was pleased to be there for the start of the race and express his gratitude for the heartfelt concern for Trenton and all of American's missing children. Josh met with Jeff Griesemer, CEO, of Child Rescue Network, Inc. (www.ChildRescueNetwork.org) who is taking advantage of this race to help make citizens across America aware that Trenton is still missing. Trenton's car #81 is being driven by this years sponsors of the race, Jay Sadie ("The Ambassador"), CEO of Team Gathergate and teammate, Mike Wells ("The Senator").

Please join together with Jeff Griesemer and Jay Sadie to bring awareness not only to Trenton, but all missing children. Let's bring our children home.

On September 10, 2007, the 9th Annual Florida Missing Children's Day ceremony was held at the Capitol Building in Tallahassee. Governor Charlie Crist met with family members and Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp attended the ceremony at the Capital.

The event gives parents of missing children the chance to unite with law enforcement to remember and pay tribute to missing children. It also allows them the opportunity to discuss continued efforts to protect our children.

Josh Duckett and his mother Carla Massero, were honored to attend the ceremony along with representatives from the Leesburg Police Department.

Josh and Carla Duckett and members of Team Trenton would like to thank everyone that attended the candlelight vigil marking the first year of Trenton's disappearance. Gathering together with so many caring people helped us make it through this difficult day. We have received many calls and well wishes from others who were not able to attend for various reasons. Everyone's kindness is very much appreciated.

There are several friends who have volunteered their time in various ways such as helping notify the media, passing out flyers, sending balloons and other various other things. A special thank you to all of you. You know who you are!

Josh and Carla Duckett, along with friends and volunteers of Team Trenton, marked Trenton's 3rd Birthday on August 10, 2007, outside the Leesburg Police Department. Members of the police department, fire department and other personnel, were present for the ceremony with Joshua Duckett.

"We haven't forgotten about Trenton, and don't want anybody else to," said Trenton's father, Josh.

Carla, Trenton's grandmother, baked a cake with sports balls decorated on it...one of Trenton's favorite toys to play with.
